Pastoral Care
Jesse has a heart for pastors, ever since his teenage years as a PK (Preacher's Kid). His father was a pastor for many years, and several of Jesse's closest friends are pastors. Jesse also served on the elder board at his home church for several years. He has shared in the joys, inspirations, burdens, and frustrations of clergy life through these relationship connections.
Professionally, Jesse has been privileged to provide individual and marital therapy to many pastors. He has also provided live trainings for the United Methodist Church and the American Association of Christian Counselors geared at helping clergy prevent burnout and moral failure. He serves as consultant for the Northeast District of the Wesleyan Church in their Clergy Care and Consultation ministry. He has aided Christian ministries in developing their Code of Moral Conduct for employees.
Finally, Jesse authored two free booklets for clergy in partnership with the Family Research Council. These integrate the power of Scripture and Attachment to help clergy in their ministry roles. These are included as free resources on our website. Please also be in touch with Jesse if he can be a resource to you or your church.
